New Music Tuesday

Two potentially wonderful soundtracks are coming out this week.

For anyone that loves the musical it will be awfully hard to top the original but Anne Hathaway is going to give it her best shot as Les Misérables comes out.

Perhaps the greatest soundtrack compilations from the past twenty years have come from the films of Quentin Tarantino.  Quentin always does a brilliant job of telling the story with the music.  The soundtrack is a complete album and not just random songs thrown together. It looks like the streak will continue with “Django Unchained”.  The soundtrack features legendary Spaghetti Western movie composer Ennio Morricone as well as Jim Croce’s “I Got A Name” and Rick Ross’ “Black Coffin’s”.   Just listen to the music in this trailer and you’ll get the idea.
