With Halloween arriving on a Monday it’s almost like a three-day weekend, except now you have to be a little more clever in how you spike the company punch bowl.
Before that day arrives you can do a number of very fun things around town.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, movies aren’t creepy until you add music. What a great opportunity to go see a silent film with improvised (!?!) organ. That is what is happening at the beautiful Walt Disney Hall, where organist Clark Wilson will play his pipe organ (I’m sorry but that does not sound right) while the silent film classic The Cabinet Of Dr. Calgari screens.
Perhaps you like movies but feel they need the sound pumping and it needs to be in 3D. Well then you might want to go to the Hollywood Forever cemetery where the entire event is in 3D (you’ll wear glasses the whole night because it’s so much better than 4D) and The EC Twins will be spinning the records.
