About Dave Sloan

My name is Dave Sloan but I also go by dave.sloan1 on Facebook, medjsloan on Twitter,  cdavidsloan on LinkedIn,

I have an 80’s podcast, called What Difference Does It Make.  We’re always looking for artist interviews.  If you have connections or ties to the 80s music scene, you can contact me at dave at wddimpodcast dot com

Follow us on TwitterInstagram and yes, even Facebook.

I host a Countdown Alternative Rock show on Dash Radio.  You can hear it Sundays at 10AM and 6PM and Mondays at 11AM PST.

You can submit interview requests for the podcast to dave at wddimpodcast dot com

Please keep in mind, I rarely if ever post music from a PR company email blast.

That said, I love you and love what you’re doing.

Here’s one of my favorite quotes from my favorite movie “Dazed and Confused.  If you love this movie, I’ll most likely love you.

…if we are all gonna die anyway shouldn’t we be enjoying ourselves now? You know, I’d like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor insignificant preamble to something else.

Hello there, my name is Keith Sumyea – manager of UK musician Adam Pluse.

Here is a video submission for your consideration as a video feature on your blog.

We very much hope you enjoy!

  3. Riley Fields says:

My name is Riley Fields; big fan of your blog. Just listened to Macy Gray’s Stevie Wonder cover, definitely interesting. I represent a musician named Brian Doherty who has a really unique sound, one that I believe would fit in with the music you like to share with people. It ranges from classic to alternative to pop rock; the kind of music that gets stuck in your head (that we’d like to think of as timeless as well).

A little background on him: he’s previously been the drummer for They Might Be Giants, XTC, Freedy Johnson, and Ben Folds. Recently he has released a new album with his new band, Treat + Release. As our friend PJ Pacifico says “If Matthew Sweet and Ben Kweller jammed backstage at a Pixies show, you’d hear If You Love Me by Treat + Release. Pure power pop ear candy! I love this song!”

Hope you’ll take a listen and consider featuring him in a New Music Tuesday post. Enjoy your Halloween!
