It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World

Alana, Danielle and Este Haim Apparently James Brown is still right when it comes to music.  As the Los Angeles Times  pointed out 80% of the artists that performed at Coachella were males.   The men might have the numbers but it’s the woman that are currently dominating.

It seems that the most talked about music this past weekend were the females.  Ellie Goulding, Haim, Waxahatchee Warpaint and Chvrches  turned in possibly career elevating performances.

Meanwhile at the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony.  The surviving members of Nirvana made the brilliant decision to have Joan Jett, St. Vincent, Kim Gordon and Lorde (who also played a winning set at Coachella) fill in on vocals.

Here are just a few of those performances to prove  that if it’s still a man’s world, the women are far more interesting.
