Bands and Beer

Bands and beer go together like peanut butter and jelly or donuts and bacon (seriously try it).  So it’s only natural that bands should give some input to what makes a great beer.  In honor of Guided By Voices entry this week into the beer market, here are a few bands and their beers.

Clear Heart beer Craig FinnArtist: Craig Finn of The Hold Steady

Beer: Clear Heart

Description: Characterised by it’s biscuity malts and easy drinking style, this was the second ever beer we brewed and still tastes as amazing as the very first time it passed our lips.  A Golden ale that works equally well when standing at the back of a dark venue or in a sunny beer garden. Drink with joy.

Finn states, “When I set out to make this beer, I was going for something with a clear taste and a full flavor. Instead I got a pretty decent buzz. We had a great time creating this beer and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Enjoy!”
